The Interview Coordinator – Candidate Experience (IC_CE) and Candidate Experience Pro (IC_CE_Pro)
Interview Coordinator (IC) is supplied with a built-in set of web pages which provide the functionality to create a corporate job board (sometimes known as a vacancy sub-site or company careers pages). These pages include a vacancy list page, a set of vacancy details pages and pages which allow the candidate to apply for the vacancy online.
These pages are configured in Interview Coordinator by the Hiring Manager for each campaign, but as they are viewed and used by prospective candidates, we call them the “Interview Coordinator Candidate Experience” pages (abbreviated to IC_CE for short).
IC is also supplied with a fully featured API (Application Programmers Interface). We call this the “IC_API”. The IC_API is designed to offer our customers the option to configure their own website, so it has the same functionality as the IC_CE pages. This option has the advantage of maintaining corporate branding and design.
As an example of what can be achieved using the IC_API, we created a set of web pages which use the IC_API to provide all the functionality needed for a comprehensive set of corporate careers pages. We called this set of pages “IC_CE_Pro” (Interview Coordinator Candidate Experience Professional)

Where customers do not want to use the IC_API to create their own careers web pages, but do want to “host” their own pages, then the IC_CE_Pro pages can be purchased as an optional “add-on” to IC. The one-off charge for IC_CE_Pro is listed on the Prices page. We levy this charge to cover any help which might be needed during the initial installation and configuration of IC_CE_Pro and for on-going technical support and upgrades.
Here are a list of features and configuration options for the IC_CE_Pro pages :-
- Fully responsive pages easily read and used on devices with large or small screens.
- Easy and efficient content management. Post and unpost vacancy adverts with a couple of clicks.
- Comprehensive vacancy search feature. Search / filter the vacancy list using Boolean logic on any of the following fields: Job Title, Department, Reference Number, Function, Industry, Vacancy expiration date, Role/salary type, Min/max salary, additional salary benefits, Skills, Location, Area and Country.
- Candidates can configure which fields are shown on the Vacancy List page.
- Referral tracking. Monitor how the candidate heard about the vacancy and from which site they were referred to the vacancy advert page.
Configurable branding options
- Add your corporate logo to each page.
- Create HTML vacancy advert templates which include corporate logos or branding images.
- Configure navigation URLs to enable navigation between IC_CE_Pro pages and existing corporate web pages.
- Configure and add branding to application instruction messages.
- Configure and brand the notification emails sent to candidates .
Other “per campaign” configuration options
- Vacancy support documents. Publish any number of documents which support the vacancy advert. Candidates can download these documents as part of the candidate application process. For example: detailed job specifications, application forms, ethnicity surveys, etc.
- Candidate application documents. The number of documents (maximum 3) and type of documents the candidate is asked to upload as part of the application process. For example, the candidate could be asked to upload their CV, an application form and a covering letter. Or their CV, an application form and a completed survey.
- Application questions. The Hiring Manager can create and set as many applications questions for each campaign as they feel appropriate. The questions can be configured so the candidate must type an answer to each question, or submit a video (or both) as part of the full candidate application process.
